Motor City FC to Compete in 2019 Women’s Michigan Milk Cup

The Motor City FC (MCFC) has been chosen to compete in the 2019 Women’s Milk Cup sponsored by the United Dairy Industry of Michigan.

MCFC will join 8 other semi-pro and amateur women’s teams from Michigan who will compete in a single elimination bracket for a $5,000 grand prize.

The competing teams include MCFC, Ann Arbor Lumberjills, AFC Ann Arbor, Lansing United, Grand Rapids FC, Michigan Legends FC and the Detroit Sun representing the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) United Women’s Soccer and the Michigan Premier Soccer League (MPSL).

Seven teams will be put into a random draw to determine matchups and hosts with one play-in game scheduled between the Livonia City FC and North Oakland to determine the eight spot in the quarter finals beginning in May 2019

The same random draw process will be followed for the semifinals and finals (all random drawings to be executed by United Dairy Industry of Michigan).
