Motor City FC Finds New Home for 2016

Motor City FC will have a new home for the 2016 season, playing all 5 home contests at Hurley Field stadium complex in Berkley, Michigan.

Berkley’s Hurley Field is known to be one of the premier high school sports complexes in the Detroit metropolitan area with over 50,000 annual visitors. The complex has undergone a number of recent renovations and upgrades, most notably, installing new field turf in 2012.

A new home and new head coach has paved an exciting path for the club’s 2016 campaign.

At the helm for MCFC this year will be Aaron Byrd, who is thrilled about the move to Hurley Field.

“I'm excited to play at Hurley because it's not only a great field but it's also in an awesome part of town that should be good for drawing fans to come out and watch this super talented group of players,” added Coach Byrd.

Hurley Field is located at 3205 Catalpa Dr. behind Anderson Middle School.

Motor City FC is an elite women’s football club founded in 2013. MCFC is one of six teams competing in the Great Lakes division of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
